The Temple University student film, "Baby Fat," portrayed a woman's narcissism through pregnancy. I incorporating bold colors and shapes against muted backdrops. I used stencils to create the bold images on the gift boxes, and focused on primary colors when creating the decor for the baby shower scene.
"Little Sicily" marked my first period piece! Lucky Lucia Productions wrote a beautiful pilot script about first generation Italian American sisters struggling with family, identity, and relationships in the 1950s.
Mike Murray and I met in Wilmington, DE, to transform a small grocery and deli into a 5 & 10, and redesign the "family home" to reflect traditional Italian family values.
Among it's many laurels, "Little Sicily" received recognition for production design.
This Sila HVAC commercial shoot included shopping for two different sets: a lived-in family home with a modern design (staging an empty house), and a couple's first home with a more natural feel (editing a lived-in home).
With a generous budget and some inspirational photos from the client, my partner and I were more than welcome to bring our ideas to life!
